3. Purpose of the website
This website provides information about the doctor's professional activity and about eye conditions and treatments, and allows you to request appointments, contact the practice, request an online consultation and sign informed consent forms.
The information published is not medical advice and never replaces a consultation, diagnosis or treatment by a health professional. If you have any symptom or concern about your eyesight, see your doctor. In an emergency, call 112 or your local emergency number.
4. Online consultations
The online consultation is a medical consultation by video call of about 30 minutes, requested through the website form and paid by bank transfer. The appointment is only booked once payment has been confirmed and the patient has chosen a day and time.
- The assessment is based on the information and documents provided by the patient and on what can be seen on video. It does not replace an in-person examination when one is needed, and the doctor may advise that the case requires an in-person visit.
- It is not an emergency service. If you have sudden loss of vision, severe eye pain, an injury or serious symptoms, go to an emergency department or call 112 (or your country's emergency number).
- Patients can change their booked time up to 24 hours beforehand from their personal link. If the consultation cannot take place for reasons attributable to the doctor, a new date or a refund will be offered.
- Video calls are not recorded.
